method
  • Brew a shot of espresso. If you don't have an espresso machine, dissolve 1–2 teaspoons of instant coffee in 30ml hot water, or brew a small amount of strong plunger coffee.
  • In a small saucepan, heat 250ml full-cream milk until steaming but not boiling. Whisk in the Cappuccino powder until completely dissolved and smooth.
  • Pour the espresso into your serving mug.
  • Pour the warm cappuccino milk mixture into the mug and stir gently to combine.
  • Froth the rest of the milk separately and spoon over the top of the latté.
  • Dust lightly with cocoa powder or cinnamon.
  • Pair your Royal Cappuccino Latté with a Tim Tam biscuit. For a classic Tim Tam Slam, bite off opposite corners and use the biscuit as a straw to sip the warm latté before enjoying the softened chocolate centre. A real royal experience!
