- Prepare the tea, first of all - in a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder in hot water until a froth forms - this should take about a minute. Set this mixture aside to cool down.
- Add your cooked tapioca pearls at the base of a glass or cup or divide between two.
- Add your sweetener of choice. Then, follow that with ice and your milk of choice.
- Pour in the matcha tea mixture to create a beautifully layered matcha milk tea drink. Stir a few times to incorporate the sweetener and serve straight away.
